Bill Clinton to campaign in Orlando Wednesday

On the day of the official nomination, Bill Clinton came on stage and gave a speech that went back to when the couple first met at Yale Law School. "I made a decision based on what was good for the United States, what was good for our values, our interests and our security, and as the State Department has confirmed, there is no evidence of any such influence at all".

"North Carolina, at its best, represents the future of America, and I hope the entire world by embracing your diversity", said Clinton, referring to HB2.

"If you think she is dishonest, if you think she is untrustworthy, the cement hardens", he said. "It's a close election because it's a tough time", Clinton said.

"She's the only person you can vote for who has actually gotten things done in Congress with Democrats and Republicans", he said. "There was still quite a bit that was unacceptable and surprising and shocking to a lot of voters".

"I think it's really cool, because it shows the importance of this area and how she's coming here to say rock island is important, Scott County is important, labor is important", said Rock Island County Board member Jeff Deppe. He delivers a straight-to-camera appeal, imploring fellow Hispanics to vote for Clinton because Trump is "dangerous".

Hillary Clinton is doubling down on her appeal to Latino voters.
