Madonna & Guy Ritchie Settle Custody Case Over Son Rocco, 16

Madonna & Guy Ritchie Settle Custody Case Over Son Rocco, 16

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have settled their custody battle over 16-year-old son Rocco, according to reports.

The disagreement began in December 2015 during a falling out between Rocco and his musician mother, 58, when he abandoned her tour to live with his Hollywood filmmaker father, 47, in London. "The court case is resolved".

The teen has since been spotted splitting his time between his parents' home cities, while he even joined the Vogue hitmaker for a family vacation in Cuba last month (Aug16).

In August, the Material Girl singer treated Rocco to a lavish 16 birthday, reportedly spending $50k to fly him and his friends to NY in a private jet.

After spending part of the summer in NY with his mother and siblings - and turning 16 in August - Rocco was headed back to London.

Madonna was reportedly livid when Rocco, 16, insisted on living with his father, with Madonna alleging the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director was poisoning their son against her.

A lawyer for Madonna declined to comment.

The couple has been urged by both a NY and British judge to find an amicable resolution for Rocco's sake.

The two were married in 2000 and divorced in 2008.

Rocco's court-appointed lawyer didn't return a message seeking comment.

"Frankly, both parties here have chosen to live their lives in a very public way, and may welcome the exposure, but the child has not", she said at the time.

Mother and son were finally reunited in London in May.

Madonna and Ritchie also have an adopted son David Banda who was born in Malawi.
