Clinton, Despite Claiming Otherwise, Once Did Comment on a Classified Intel Briefing

Asked to respond to a criticism from Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus that she was too serious and didn't smile enough at Thursday night's forum - a remark many liberals criticized as sexist - she said that these were "serious issues" that warranted serious responses, and said she would leave the questions about gender to journalists and campaign historians.

"I do not think the guy's qualified to be president of the United States and every time he speaks, that opinion is confirmed", Obama said in what was an unusually caustic comment about the US presidential contest while he was traveling overseas. "It's a very different system and I don't happen to like the system, but certainly, in that system, he's been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader". This event was called the Commander-in-Chief Forum.

"I don't understand the reasons for it", she said.

Take the two minor-party candidates out of the equation and the race tightens considerably - a statistical tie of 46 percent for Mr. Trump compared to 45 percent for Mrs. Clinton.

Clinton pointed to the U.S. military code of honor, saying "that, Donald Trump, ... is what we're going to stand up and defend in the face of your outrageous, disgraceful attacks on the men and women of our armed forces".

"I don't know what the fuck he was doing ― and neither did he!"

Trump contributed Dollars 60 million to his campaign in August, which then turned out to be his best fund-raising month with USD 90 million as the total amount raised.

Mrs Clinton also said her 2002 Senate vote in favour of the Iraq War was "a mistake".

On Thursday, the Clinton campaign fired off an email calling out the "Today" show host for sitting quietly as Donald Trump claimed, once again, that he's always opposed the Iraq War, despite evidence to the contrary.

At the televised forum on Wednesday night, Trump said he was "shocked" by information he got during the briefing. He refuses to take responsibility for his support.

Clinton also lingered on her Methodist faith, saying Americans deserve "a president that will pray with you and for you".

Speaking about her own plan to destroy ISIS, Clinton said: "We are going to intensify our air campaign ...give more support on the ground to the Arab and Kurdish fighters".

"I view force as a last resort, not a first choice", she said.

He said in his Cleveland remarks that the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq had left a power void filled by Islamic State militants. The large number of voters in that position probably won't change until at least after the first presidential debate scheduled for September 26.
