Giants unveil their 2016 Color Rush uniforms

Giants unveil their 2016 Color Rush uniforms

The won't be the only team to leave the Color Rush jerseys on hangers for a Thursday game. To rectify that problem, Nike, who makes the Vapor Untouchable uniforms, is giving options to some teams to wear all white to contrast with their opposition. It's captioned "Light Up Thursday Night".

The Dolphins will be wearing all-orange uniforms in their Thursday Night Football appearance against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium on September 29. The Giants will be facing off with their NFC East division rival Philadelphia Eagles in what could be a very important game for division and playoff implications.

The Cardinals now have their "Color Rush" uniform. Also, the stripes on the shoulders don't really seem to fit on the uniform. The blue jerseys are, of course, normal, but the change comes with all-blue trousers and all-blue socks. In 2013, they added white alternate trousers.

Unlike last season, the league kept those people in mind when designing the uniforms, which feature jerseys and trousers that are one color. The rule change took place after the 2009 season which featured numerous AFL throwback uniforms, complete with custom helmets.

More news: Syrian military denies using Chlorine gas in Aleppo

A game last season between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets in which they were wearing red and green respectively made the two teams almost indistinguishable to colorblind viewers.

Thankfully, only 76 people were in favor seeing Big Blue return to Big Red.

Only a select few teams wore Color Rush-jerseys last season. Things could always be worse.

As much as I hate color rush uniforms, these are pretty sweet.
