Resident Evil makes October's list of PlayStation Plus games

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, Sony confirmed next month's games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, which will be available starting October 4.

If you subscribe to PlayStation Plus you might be wondering what games you're going to receive free as part of your subscription next month.

The remastered Resident Evil for PS4 highlights the package of six games, with the ususal distribution of two for PS4, two for PS3 and two for PSVita.

The price of PlayStation Plus recently jumped from $50 to $60 for a year-long subscription. October brings Resident Evil and Transformers. Worry not, PlayStation system owners - the publisher has come through in spades with a number of great games.

More free games are on the way for PlayStation Plus members.

Next up is Transformers: Devastation.

Another month goes by, another set of games for Playstation Plus subscribers to claim.

The fast-paced melee action enables users to choose from five Autobots and take on Megatron and the Decepticons.

Sony closes out October's PlayStation Plus lineup with a pair of free digital releases for PS Vita owners, including the narrative-driven adventure game Actual Sunlight and Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth, a visual novel from Idea Factory and Aksys Games.
