'I Did the Shooting': Orlando Nightclub Massacre 911 Calls Revealed

More of Orlando shooter Omar Mateen's negotiations with police have been released.

The Orlando massacre left 49 people dead after gunman, Omar Mateen, carried out an attack in a gay nightclub called Pulse.

Mateen: Call me Mujahideen, call me the Soldier of the God. A hearing on the continuing legal fight over the 911 calls will be held Friday.

"You have to tell the USA government to stop bombing". You have to tell the USA government to stop bombing. "There's no other way to explain him having so many dating site apps and visiting clubs and dancing with gay men and confiding in them." she said.

Mateen, who said that Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev was his "homeboy", claimed that he had a bomb-rigged vehicle outside the gay club, though no such explosives were found.

A supervisor also revealed how police negotiators were communicating with Mateen when a law enforcement officer from another agency, asked to be patched into the conversations with Mateen.

Mateen repeatedly highlighted USA actions in Syria and Iraq as motivating his attack.

Andy the operator asked "can you tell me where you are right now so I can you get some help?" and he replies "no". During the second call, Mateen, a 29-year-old American citizen, said his assault on the nightclub was "triggered" by a USA bombing that killed a top ISIS commander in Iraq weeks earlier.

"Omar would always say gay people are the biggest sinners and they can't be they should not be alive", she said.

Mateen: My name is Islamic soldier, okay?

During his first call, Mateen pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group and said: "I want to let you know I'm in Orlando and I did the shooting".

A further 53 people were injured in the attack which happened just 3 months ago. The transcripts show long pauses where he does not respond at all.

"My homeboy Tamerlan Tsarnaev did his thing on the Boston Marathon", he said, referring to the 2013 attack, "my homeboy [unidentifiable name] did his thing, okay, so now it's my turn, okay?".

Three calls were made between Mateen and dispatchers. He killed 49 people and wounded scores more.

Mateen said he could "feel the pain of the people getting killed in Syria and Iraq and all over the Muslim" world.

He says the "trigger" for the attack was a USA -led air strike that killed Abu Wahid nearly a month before the Orlando attack. The gunman says he's wearing a vest like the one used in France, then later says it's a wedding vest.
