Manchester United Defender May Consider Future In January Admits Agent

Matteo Darmian's agent has hinted the defender could leave Manchester United in January if he doesn't start getting more game time.

Matteo Darmian, the Italy global who arrived at Old Trafford in the summer of 2015 from Torino in Serie A, has gone virtually unused so far under Mourinho.

Darmian, 26, has played just once all season and was not even on the bench for Thursday's Europa League tie against Zorya Luhansk - even though first-choice right-back Antonio Valencia was rested.

Inter have been linked with the former Palermo full-back and may get the chance to sign the talented stopper according to his agent, Fausto Pari. "The boy understands that he needs regular first-team football to enhance his chances with the worldwide squad".

"In order to know where will his future be, we'll have to understand Manchester United's will".

The Italian global looks set to end his Manchester United nightmare after agreeing to move to Inter Milan.

"If the situation doesn't change we'll have to think of something in January, he risks losing the national team too".

'He's playing little or nothing and it's a shame because he's an Italy worldwide, ' said Pari.

The Italian, who joined Manchester United from Torino a year ago, has struggled for relevance under new manager Jose Mourinho, and has only made a solitary appearance this season. Italian clubs have tried, but United has closed the door right away.
