Little Mix: X Factor's Honey G is an actress, the joke's over

Little Mix: X Factor's Honey G is an actress, the joke's over

Honey G singing a Motown song on the X Factor live show... what could possibly go wrong?

"I think she can win yes", she insisted.

"People are saying to me that they think it's David Cameron in a wig".

Nicole told Reveal: "Oh yeah, Honey G is a novelty act".

As the rapper left the studios she greeted cameras by sticking two fingers up, then just giving them the middle finger for good measure.

She performed Mo' Money, Mo' Problems, which was really stretching the definition of a Motown hit - apparently it was okay because it samples I'm Comin' Out - and it seemed as though people were starting to tire of the act.

Jesy's comments come after Honey G, one of Sharon Osbourne's hopefuls now competing in the live shows, has had to hit back at claims she is a "novelty act".

She replaced singer Ivy Grace who could not travel to judge Sharon Osbourne's home in Los Angeles due to visa issues.

Honey, meanwhile, has said it is "insulting" to be branded a joke.

Louis Walsh shocked his fellow judges when he asked Honey G if she was David Cameron in a wig after her performance.

And Boyzone singer Shane Lynch wrote online, "When i say honey u say G".

"I love that you came out with personality".

Simon Cowell admitted he thoroughly enjoyed the rapper's performances, telling her: "You are now my guilty pleasure".

Fans of the series will no doubt be waiting with bated breath for her performance after she received rapturous praise for her version of Tupac's iconic California Love.

And for the second week in a row Saara found herself in the sing-off and unlike last week when he was given a reprieve by the app vote there was to be no lifeline for Freddy, with Ryan receiving the most public support.

The X Factor results air tomorrow at 8pm on ITV.
