First Look At Alicia Vikander In Tomb Raider Set Pics

Meet your new Lara Croft.

According to reports, Dominic West will fill the role of Lara Croft's father, which was previously played by Jon Voight.

Good luck landing jumps, climbing mountains and running up things (or away from things) with those. The collection features several action sequences in scenes reminiscent of Rise of the Tomb Raider. Right now, all that matters is that Vikander looks like she is going to be kicking serious butt and she's going to look (realistically) awesome doing it. She delivered stellar performances in films like Ex Machina and The Danish Girl, the latter won her the Oscar for Best Actress in Supporting Role.

The photos also appeared on Twitter, where they were reposted by a news feed for fans of Vikander. I think we'll want to make people relate to Lara as a character.

In case you didn't know, Alicia Vikander is taking on the role made famous by Angelina Jolie in the 2001. Alas, the long wait is nearly over.

The untitled Tomb Raider project is scheduled to hit theaters March 16, 2018.
