It Sure Sounds Like Kellyanne Conway Broke a Major Federal Law

White House press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters today that Conway had been spoken too about the incident, but offered no further comment. In case there were any doubt of her intentions, Conway added she was giving the president's daughter a "free commercial," and said, "Go buy it today".

The president is not subject to ethics standards for federal employees, but Conway is, however.

In her appearance on Fox Thursday, Conway continued in that line, insisting that the Nordstrom decision was part of a broader attack on the Trump family by unspecified retailers.

The President tweeted about the situation on Wednesday, criticizing Nordstrom.

Brendan Morrow is a Heavy contributor who covers news, politics, professional wrestling, and more. "It's a wonderful line", Conway said.

The president said he has transferred management responsibilities for his real-estate and branding empire to his two adult sons and a longtime Trump Organization executive, but he has refused to relinquish an ownership stake in his companies.

"Conway's comments are a particularly egregious example of how the Trump businesses are cashing in on the Trump presidency", said Think Progress.

"She is a great person - always pushing me to do the right thing!"

"This is a very successful businesswoman", Conway said, before offering statistics about how many stores sell Ivanka Trump merchandise and calling her a "champion for women empowerment".

One of USA president Donald Trump's closet aides has urged the public to buy items from a clothing and jewellery line named after Mr Trump's daughter Ivanka.

"It would be major progress for the White House to even acknowledge this is a violation and stop doing this", he says.

Owens is the first active military service member to die in combat during Trump's presidency.

"Please proceed with an investigation and take appropriate enforcements actions to ensure that all employees of the federal government abide by the conflict of interest laws and regulations", Public Citizen wrote in its complaint letter to the ethics office.
