Ashley Mead's body parts might have been left in several areas, suitcase

They were reported missing after the mother failed to show up for work on Tuesday.

A police report states that 32-year-old Haughton native Adam Densmore was arrested during a traffic stop on February 15 by Oklahoma Highway Patrol shortly after the discovery of female remains in a suitcase in a Walmart dumpster in Okmulgee.

Ashley Mead was still missing, but police found partial human remains in a dumpster outside of a Wal-Mart store in the town.

Investigators are asking people in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Oklahoma to be on the lookout for the remains of a Boulder woman allegedly killed by the father of her child.

Police said Mead's body may be in a purple suitcase. That statement added that Densmore was suspected of discarding body parts in a "variety of communities".

The Boulder Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 25-year-old Ashley Mead.

They believe her body was at least partially dismembered outside of Shreveport, Louisiana.

The suspect in this case is Winter's father, Adam Densmore. The arrest affidavit has been sealed by the court. The pair hadn't been seen since Sunday. But detectives believe Densmore left Boulder Sunday night and traveled south to Raton, N. M.

On the morning of February 14, Densmore drove to Conway, Arkansas and spent the night.

Then investigators believe Densmore left Conway, Arkansas and stopped in Okmulgee, Okla. before he was located and arrested just west of Tulsa about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Densmore already was in custody at the Pawnee County Jail after being arrested Wednesday on suspicion of violating a custody agreement when he was found with the daughter he has with Mead. Anybody who sees a purple suitcase, much like the one pictured below, in an odd location is asked not to touch it, but call police immediately.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mead is asked to contact the Boulder Police Department at 303-441-1974.Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous may contact the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
