BLINK Recast For Fox's X-MEN Show

BLINK Recast For Fox's X-MEN Show

The casting of Chung as Blink (a character who was previously played by Bingbing Fan in X-Men: Days of Future Past) reveals her character is most likely one of those children.

Chung is the first actor cast in the highly anticipated project. After being traumatized from having to leave the life she knows, she slowly regains her confidence, and adapts to her new life.

Chung, who has appeared on "Once Upon a Time", "Gotham", and "Believe", will star alongside Blair Redford ("Switched at Birth"), who plays underground leader Sam. A mutant with the ability of teleportation, the Blink introduced in the series will be looking to find herself again as she adjusts to her new normal.

Jamie Chung has been cast as Blink in Fox's untitled X-Men television series. Now it appears that Chung's Blink will not be connected to the Blink introduced in the cinematic X-Men universe - though there is always the possibility that could change as additional details emerge. There's actually an alternate version of Blink that most comic fans are probably more familiar with: the version from the comic world's "Age of Apocalypse" timeline (where, you guessed it, Apocalypse rules the world) that eventually played a major part in the cross-dimensional superteam, the Exiles.

With FX's Legion out there enthralling and confusing audiences from week to week, that other X-Men-related TV show is starting to pull itself together.

Jamie Chung is making the jump from DC back to Marvel. The family has to go on the run, and joins an underground network dedicated to saving mutants. Casting is still taking place and no other names have been announced as of yet. Are there any particular iconic characters you'd like to see join Blink in the Fox pilot?
