House returning to Packers

House returning to Packers

House spent the first four years of his career in Green Bay after being drafted in the sixth round out of New Mexico State in 2011.

It is expected that Jones will return to defensive end with the Vikings.

For the second consecutive day the Steelers played host to a free agent, and for the second day in a row, the Green Bay Packers swooped in and signed one of their targets.

CB Davon House has agreed to one-year deal with the #Packers, according to a source. Jones figures to be a candidate to play three-technique defensive tackle. He came into Green Bay's system as a defensive end, but moved to outside linebacker in 2015.

Elliott was supposed to be a restricted free agent, but the Packers didn't tender him.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Packers waved goodbye to running back Eddie Lacy, who signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The final two seasons with the Packers were the best for House, playing in 19 games with 63 tackles and two interceptions.

Last offseason, the Packers declined to pick up the fifth-year option on Jones' rookie contract.
