Badass Golfer Cody Gribble Pulls Stunning Move On Alligator

Badass Golfer Cody Gribble Pulls Stunning Move On Alligator

Cody Gribble of the United States plays his tee shot on the par 4, eighth hole during the first round of the 2017 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard on March 16, 2017 in Orlando, Florida.

He casually detoured toward the alligator and pushed the reptile by the tail back into the water. Golfer Cody Gribble walked up on one of these fine creatures on the edge of a fairway and chose to get it out of there.

It takes a lot of guts to mess with a gator, especially one who's just minding his/her own business.

Gribble is a braver man than me.

"Gator looked like he needed some exercise, I don't know", he said.

Gribble appeared genuinely surprised his interaction with the gator was newsworthy, and had no idea it was caught on video. I mean, they're going to get you really quick early, but I'm not in its way.

At least he didn't end up like Chubbs, though. Unfortunately for him, however, it didn't seem to work. "Those guys, I mean, it's like a jolt, it's quick, they're not going to catch you, they're not going to catch you a couple of steps down", said Gribble.

Gribble finished off Thursday's round with a 77, and will start his second round on Friday 10 strokes behind the leader, Fanrag Sports noted.
