Top NFL prospect Myles Garrett bench presses a reporter

Top NFL prospect Myles Garrett bench presses a reporter

It'd be a major surprise for the Browns to not take Garrett No. 1 overall. Jevon Kearse, JaDaveon Clowney, and Julius Peppers have been thrown around as possible comparisons though there are some who believe Garrett's overall potential exceeds them all. Between the uncertainty regarding quarterbacks, situations like Joe Mixon's, the lack of clarity early behind Myles Garrett at No. 1 and plenty more, it's all been erratic to this point. Hall of Famer Reggie White was eighth. He is focused on winning as well, which is something the Browns may be impressed with, especially after years and years of being cellar dwellers.

One of the most hard prospects to get a feel for is North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. His father, mother and uncle were college athletes, and Thomas is the best of the bunch. The athleticism he demonstrates on the field blends quickness, speed, and pure strength with his well-developed football instincts. It would be surprising to see him fall past the third pick.

Running back Isaiah Crowell is fresh off his best season as a pro, compiling almost 1,300 yards from scrimmage and averaging 4.8 yards per carry. There is much more to Garrett than meets the eye.

"The Cowboys are my hometown team, but when push comes to shove, I want to go No. 1", he said.

Let's start at the top and that's the consensus first overall pick.

"I haven't talked to him but two times, and it was just, 'Hey, hello.' Or at halftime: 'Get after it, big dog.' All right, will do [laughs]". It's important to say that he also played part of the season injured.

The 6-3, 253-pound Harris had steep competition in his own meeting room, resulting in him being redshirted behind eventual pros Shane Ray (Broncos) and Markus Golden (Cardinals) as a freshman.

In 34 total games played over his three seasons at Texas A&M, he had 31.0 sacks, 47.0 tackles for losses, 141 total tackles, an interception, five pass deflections, a fumble recovery and seven forced fumbles.
