Jinder Mahal No. 1 contender for WWE Championship

Jinder Mahal No. 1 contender for WWE Championship

Jinder Mahal, who has never held any kind of title in WWE, pinned Sami Zayn after some outside interference from NXT tag team The Bollywood Boyz.

Of course, one of the big titles could change hands at SummerSlam and the victor gets drafted to SmackDown, meaning we're only without a Champion for a few months. Shane McMahon settles the chaos by making a match between the two later tonight. Naomi set her title aside and suddenly struck Charlotte with a forearm. The Superstars that changed from SmackDown Live to RAW and from RAW over to SmackDown Live. She was interrupted by the reigning champion Naomi, who proceeded to inform her that there were no queens on SmackDown. Later in the evening, they formed a wall as if to prevent Flair from passing them, but she easily walked through and scoffed. In the main card, fights took place for the number one contender to the WWE Championship and Women's Championship.

A big part of that is SmackDown's willingness to elevate talent, and Mahal undoubtedly received that treatment with his victory Tuesday.

Charlotte Flair will challenge Naomi for her Smackdown Women's Championship after beating her on just her second night on the show. The former four-time Raw Women's Champion made history with Sasha Banks on several occasions, from a Hell in a Cell match to an Iron Man match.

While the referee is getting Chad Gable back to the ring apron, Primo attacks Jason Jordan from the apron to help Epico get the pinfall. That bout will take place at Payback in the form of a House of Horrors match. Good back-and-forth action between the two included a powerful Deep Six by Corbin, but Styles was able to force the match outside the ring.

Styles will have to wait a few more weeks for his chance at the US Title as Kevin Owens will be defending it against Chris Jericho at WWE Payback on April, 30th.
