Liverpool target Hernandez passes Real medical

Liverpool target Theo Hernandez has had offers from Real Madrid and Barcelona, his agent has revealed. He has spent this season out on loan at Alaves.

Hernandez has impressed on loan at Alaves from Atletico Madrid and now looks set to move across the capital.

Hernandez's agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, says that the final decision will lie in the player's own hands.

According to Sport, he's close to joining the Catalan giants even though Real Madrid were the first team to insist that they were ready to meet his €24m release clause. There are concert offers, but we still haven't chosen.

All three sides are prepared to pay Hernandez's €24 million release clause.

"[Theo] will be the person who decides where he wants to go". Real Madrid and Liverpool are also interested in landing the French under-20 defender.

He is on the books of Atletico but has never played for their first team.

Manchester City tried to complete a a double deal for Atletico Madrid brothers Lucas and Theo Hernandez last summer.

"There is no war with anyone", Atletico president Enrique Cerezo said recently after reports of a summer switch to Real, but he added this week: "If a player wants to leave, then let him play wherever he wants to".

"Theo is an Atletico Madrid player and until now, as far as I know, nobody has asked us about him", he was quoted as saying by ESPN. There is a code, with all clubs.
