Hackers behind stolen NSA tool for WannaCry: More leaks coming

The Shadow Brokers - a group that claimed last Saturday (May 13) that they have stolen hacking tools from the National Security Agency (NSA) - said in a blog post that it would set up a "monthly subscription model" for security exploits.

This EternalBlue vulnerability was actually first discovered by the USA security agency NSA, but the agency's hacking arsenal was stolen by the Shadow Brokers, and now the hacker group responsible for this theft has written a blogpost. The group even says it may dole out "compromised network data from Russian, Chinese, Iranian, or North Korean nukes and missile programs".

In a convoluted post on Steemit.com and shared on the mysterious group's Twitter account, Shadow Brokers says it has more exploits and attack tools in its possession. Cisco, Juniper, Intel, Microsoft, Symantec, Google, Apple, FireEye, any other bullshit security companies didn't buy lost warez. That holding back of exploits, in theory, is the reason why Microsoft's Chief Legal Officer Brad Smith was so mad about WannaCry and the U.S. government stockpiling vulnerabilities.

In December, Shadow Brokers cancelled its auction and offered to sell the exploits.

The Shadow Brokers' first dump of exploits in August sparked a robust discussion within the Obama administration.

In the blog post, Shadow Brokers mention that they're taking a stern approach towards fighting the cybersecurity practices across the globe - and they think leaking sensitive data is the best option to do so.

Former NSA officials have claimed the Shadow Brokers' tools are "identical" to those taken by Martin, reports The Washington Post.

TheShadowBrokers dumped 2013 OddJob from ROCTOOLS and 2013 JEEPFLEAMARKET from /TARGETS. TheShadowBrokers is not being interested in stealing grandmothers' retirement money. This is always being about theshadowbrokers vs theequationgroup.

The group also promised to include compromised financial data from the SWIFT global payment order system, used by banks to transfer trillions of dollars each day, as well as confidential data from several central banks.

The Washington Post reported that NSA officials had discussed whether EternalBlue was unsafe enough for them to reveal it to Microsoft. "They claim they still have zero-days". Is being like wine of month club.

In the blogpost which was made yesterday, the group claiming to be Shadow Brokers, said, "Shadow Brokers feels that it was "being very responsible" about April's dump-the one that resulted in WannaCrypt/WannaCry, and the potential for many more exploits." .
