Video captures deadly confrontation at Greenville auto dealership

Fidel Garcia and Gabriel Bernal, two bounty hunters tracking the fugitive, Ramon Michael Hutchinson, ended their hunt with a volley of gunfire that left all three men dead inside a Texas Nissan vehicle dealership earlier this week.

Police have released cellphone video of the deadly shootout at a Texas vehicle dealership Tuesday that left three people dead.

Hutchinson had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a first degree drug charge from the Hennepin County Sherriff's Office in Minneapolis.

According to Greenville Police, the pair pulled out guns and began giving Hutchinson orders. Peters says Garcia told him to put a tracking device on Hutchinson's girlfriend's vehicle.

Authorities identified the bounty hunters as Fidel Garcia Jr., 54, and Gabriel Bernal, 33. A brief scuffle inside a glass office between the hunters and the fugitive led to a shootout, leaving all three dead.

It's not clear if the investigators notified police before approaching Hutchinson. He counted at least six bystanders in the footage as the shots rang out. They had been hired by a bail enforcement agency to return Hutchinson to Minnesota to face felony charges.

Several hours later, after 49-year-old Ramon Hutchinson arrived, the two men walked into an office with guns drawn.

State records show Garcia was licensed to manage his own private investigation firm, F.N.G.

Officers arrived at Nissan of Greenville around 7:20 p.m. local time, responding to reports of multiple gunshots.

"I'm not sure what he was doing that day", Bradley said.

Phariss is also troubled by the fact that the employees said the bounty hunters identified themselves as federal agents, making it a crime.

"They didn't have badges, they didn't show identification", he said, according to WFAA.

The main goal, he says, is to limit risk - not just for the bounty hunters but also for the fugitives and the public.
