Marshawn Lynch Swears Multiple Times in First Presser

Marshawn Lynch Swears Multiple Times in First Presser

The Oakland Raiders running back told reporters Wednesday he only made a decision to come out of retirement to play for the Raiders when he learned they would be leaving for Las Vegas, according to The San Francisco Chronicle's Vic Tafur.

"Maybe them staying probably wouldn't have been so big for me to want to come and play", he said Tuesday in his first news conference since joining the Raiders in April.

Back home after being outrun and outgunned by the Warriors, who won Games 1 and 2 at Oracle Arena by a combined 41 points, the Cavs find themselves in the same predicament they were in previous year.

That was probably the thinking when the Raiders signed Lynch to a two-year deal this offseason.

The most enlightening news to come out of Lynch's press conference was his disclosure on when he chose to come out of retirement to join the Raiders, which required cooperation from the Seahawks, who still had his rights when he un-retired.

Ryan is now a student at Vassar College. He has founded his own sports website, thejrreport.com and is a contributor at The Raiders Wire and Chargers Wire. "I've got all of Oakland behind me", Lynch said. At the National Football League level he had never had a chance to play, in Oakland, for Oakland though.

"With me being from here and continuing to be here, it gives them an opportunity to see someone who actually did it, who is from where they're from, someone they probably idolized", Lynch said.

I don't think it's no different.

And the Seahawks might tell you that the most noteworthy thing about the clip is Lynch actually taking part in an OTA - he had not done so with Seattle since at least 2012 (OTAs are officially voluntary).

Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue speaks at a news conference after Game 2 of basketball's NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, Calif., Sunday, June 4, 2017.

"The way we feel about where we're from, and why we represent so how hard is because we know what the struggle is and how we get down".

"I got the town - you feel me, though? - behind me", Lynch said.

To be honest, it was heartfelt but at the end of the day I still walk outside. "The billboards are for the commercials, but when you get outside and walk in the cracks, you get to find out what's real". Now I get the opportunity to play here.

"I've got the whole town riding with me", he said.
