The couple looked relaxed after their day mini-tour of the south west, despite the weather which resulted in a change to their original plans to visit the smaller islands off the coast of Cornwall.

William and Kate had planned to fly to the Isles of Scilly this morning but foggy conditions around Land's End forced them to delay their trip. William admitted it took "an awfully long time" to know what he wanted to do.

Sam Wayne edged into position and flashed a grin when the royal couple approached - as the Duke was overheard to say "That's got to be a bad selfie".
