Television journalist Barkha Dutt is no stranger to controversy. Recently Niira Radia tapes emerged of exposing her of lobbying between the DMK and the Congress Party. Another tape around the time of the Gujarat State Election result has been making rounds on the internet and these tapes promise to be even more damning of this so called “fair” and “impartial” journalist.
These tapes have NDTV’s Group Editor Barkha Dutt, who is supposed to have been conducting her job as an impartial journalist, call the people of Gujarat “historically effete” and thus were, according to her reasoning, attracted to Narendra Modi. The word “effete” can be interpreted in this instance to mean “impotent”.

Broad generalizations and condescending language isn’t acceptable in private conversations let alone for a popular T.V. journalist to say it on air. Is this is acceptable language? Forget impartiality and integrity, where has basic human courtesy gone?
Barkha Dutt has been recently in the news for all the wrong reasons. Twitter has been trending #barkhagate for nearly 72 hours as the leaked I.T. Department tapes show her to be colluding with corporate lobbyist Niira Radia and found her fixing Cabinet positions between the DMK and Congress.
Barkha Dutt is not the only main steam journalist who’s corruption has been exposed by these tapes. These tapes also mention Prabhu Chawla, Rajdeep Sardesai and Vir Sanghvi among others.

for a long Time we are are seeing barkha’s reprting . one thing we must be sure about that she is total professional journalist . in issues like gujarat riot victims , nuclear deal , mumbai attack , kargil war we can easily see her violating ethics of journalism . Her petriotism has always been dubious
