Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has beaten Lady Gaga and Rihanna to be named as most popular music star of the year.
Cole topped the list compiled by search engine Yahoo based on the number of online ‘hits’ she is received in the Britain, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Lady Gaga came second while teen sensation Justin Bieber is on third place. Katy Perry and Rihanna wrapped up the top five.
