But Amar’e Stoudemire and the Knicks had an answer, the last laugh and the victory — a wild 124-115 decision over the Clippers at Staples Center. The Felton-Stoudemire-Gallinari trio was too much for Griffin’s staggering aerial show as the Knicks hit the California trifecta, winning their third straight game in the state. “We’re showing winning qualities,” Stoudemire said. Stoudemire was spectacular, finishing with a Knicks-high 39 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Raymond Felton had another terrific game (20 points, seven assists and seven steals).

And Danilo Gallinari exploded again with an unbelievable fourth quarter with 17 clutch points to withstand the barrage of highlight slams by the monstrous Griffin, who finished with 44 points, five incredible dunks, 7 assists and 15 rebounds in his first-ever game against the Knicks.
