Sixteen time Grand Slam champion, defending Australian Open champion and widely considered the greatest male player of all time Roger Federer worked his way into the fourth round of Australian Open 2011 defeating Xavier Malisse in the third round 6-3, 6-3, 6-1.
Federer served well all through and ended the match with 6 aces, just one double fault and a first serve percentage of 64%. Federer wasn’t as consistent though with 36 unforced errors to match his 36 winners. He converted 7 our of 17 breakpoints winning each set quite comfortably.
If Roger Federer manages to win the Australian Open this year, it would be his fifth Australian Open title which would make him the only player to have won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open at least five times each,
