Update - Under Pressure Afridi Reverses Comments; Calls Indians Shallow, Small Hearted

In an emotional appeal to a section of Pakistanis who hate India, Pakistan Cricket Captain Shahid Afridi asked people to stop hating India and Indian crickets and people in all walks of life.

Afridi, an ethnic Pashtun living in Karachi, is noted to have said that given all Pakistanis follow Indian movies, television serials, music and culture it is hypocritical to then spread hate against Indians and Indian culture. Afridi made these comments after returning from a high voltage cricket clash between the two rival in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 semi finals. The match was closely contested and India won narrowly in the end.
