Hammond police cancel Amber Alert for missing mom, 2-month-old son

The Sheridan Police Department believes the child was abducted by Dustin Fisher, a 20-year-old white male who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 187 pounds and has brown hair. Walker has a birthmark under one eye.

Shortly after, Walker called police to say she and the baby were safe at a residence in Calumet City, according to Hammond Police Lt. Richard Hoyda.

Yolanda Walker and her 2-month-old boy are believed to be in extreme danger.

"Yolanda Walker is described as a 20-year-old black female, 5'-4" tall, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Update: The Amber Alert issued for Madison Lloyd was canceled at 8:45 p.m. Monday. The suspect was believed to have been driving a gold Chevy Trailblazer or a similar type of SUV. Police do not know what clothing the child was wearing at the time of the abduction. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and was last seen wearing a T-shirt and Grinch pajama trousers. The license plate number of the vehicle is not known.
