LG V20 official with dual rear cameras and Android 7.0 Nougat

Like the V10, durability still remains one of the flagship features of the V20.

LG V20, the first smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, has been launched by the company. LG has also teased the new flagship's exceptional audio experience which may bring high-quality 32 bit sound to this mobile device. This reduces the chance of a blurred shot due to camera shake when the button is pressed, the company says. Its design has a smooth aluminum back, with silicon polycarbonate on the top and bottom portions. However, the V20 still remains a tough device, with MIL-STD-810 shock resistance. Pricing and launch dates will be announced in the next few weeks. On the back, LG has opted to use a dual-camera system led by a "standard angle" 16MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture with OIS (optical image stabilization), and a wider 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.8. On the front of the device is another wide-angle lens, flawless for taking selfies.

Best of all, the V20 does not ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack, meaning consumers won't be forced to buy an unsightly adapter, or, worse, a new pair of USB-C headphones to listen to music and take calls while using their new smartphone.

LG hasn't yet announced United Kingdom availability details, but said that the LG V20 will be available in Korea starting this month followed by other regions.

The LG V20 smartphone is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. What has changed however, is that the secondary display is now longer than the one on the V10.

LG still has its custom skin on Android 7.0, which is unfortunate.

Another V20 feature that LG is touting is its Quad DAC (digital to analog converter).

LG V20 is the successor to V10 smartphone. It comes in Titan, Silver and Pink colors.

"The new search mode featured in the Google app, helps users find content not only from built-in apps, including contacts, emails, text messages and photos, but also from user-installed apps", the statement said. The V20 is just a different kind of beast that focuses on media, which means dominating audio and video. We don't know the price for the device, but based on the price range for the last year's release, we can assume that it will match other high-end smartphones available on the market.
